Bioring SA results from the coming together of 3 individuals in the early 90’s: Cardiac Surgeon Prof. Afksendyios Kalangos, Life Sciences Entrepreneur Mr. Raymond Andrieu and Biomedical Engineer Dr. Philippe Le Goff. The three initiators combined their energy to find and develop a valid answer to a frustrating unmet medical need: heart valve disease in children. Together they started active work on the development of a flexible bioresorbable product for application in paediatric heart valve treatment in 1993. |
